Glad that the second time was the charm. I just had a gut feeling that the yeast was unhappy with all the chilling — cold milk, cold this, cold that, chill, chill, chill. So, I used the instant yeast second time around, ’cause that stuff is potent. I hope I get my photos, but today’s braid was gorgeously flaky. Good luck for July!
